Sunday Worship Song

I am loving this new song by Brandon Heath. It really makes you think about how many times we just may see "Jesus in disguise." I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Sunday Worship Song

Today we had the privilege of having For King and Country help with leading worship at our church this morning. They did such a great job and their heart and love for God is so evident. They also sang a Christmas that they recently wrote, which for me, was a real treat. God's timing is so perfect because it just so happens that we have been in The Story sermon series, and today we were discussing the events that led up to the birth of Christ, so the Christmas song was very fitting. I told Jeff, "Christmas songs in September...this is my kind of worship service!" Yes, believe it or not, I am already looking forward to Christmas. Haha! Anyways, here are a couple of songs that they shared with us today. I know I have shared their song Busted Heart with you all before, but because it's such a good song and one of my fav's I thought I'd share it again. Happy Sunday everyone!

Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings

    Pinned Image

I was so excited when I found this recipe on Pinterest for crock pot chicken and dumplings. This is actually my first time to ever make chicken and dumplings, so hopefully it turns out good. I cannot wait to try it, and I'll definitely let you know the results. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 lb. of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (about 2-3)
2 cans (10.5 oz.) Cream of Chicken Soup
1 can (14 oz.) Chicken Broth
1 medium White Onion, diced
4 Large Flaky Refrigerator Biscuits (half a can)

Directions:
Place thawed chicken in crock pot. Top with cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and diced onion. Cook on High for 4-6 hours or Low for 8 hours. Do not stir while cooking.

Cut each uncooked biscuit into 9 small pieces and stir into the chicken mixture. Continue to cook on High for 30 min. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with a fork. Return to slow-cooker and stir everything together.

Makes about 6-8 servings.

Did You Think I Disappeared...

Well, I can reassure you that I did not fall off the face of the blog world, but have been battling a nasty stomach virus for about 5 days now. I'm feeling much better today, thanks to a doctors visit and some antibiotics. I also wanted to say a big thank you to my awesome husband and parents. They have all taken such great care of me over the past few days by taking me to the doctor, bringing me dinner, and making many runs to the grocery for Sprite, crackers, and Powerade. Okay, enough of the sick talk. Here are some things I've been loving lately...

1.) Kari Jobe's Where I Find You album. I just love her music and the quality of worship that comes from listening to her songs. Here are a couple of my fav's...

2.) Fall decorations, baking, coffee, etc.

fall decor.

I love this for front porch decor.

Oreo Owl Cupcakes!

These owl cupcakes are too cute. I know what I'm making for my aunt's Fall party next weekend!

Pinned Image

I am so ready for a pumpkin spice latte. Maybe this weekend? :)

3.) I'm loving these Bible verse images that I found on Pinterest...

Exodus 14:14. Love this verse :)

Besides Zephaniah 3:17, this verse is my favorite. How awesome is it to know that we have a God who fights for us? Many times we think the battle is for us to fight, but the truth is, we are too weak. I once heard it said that when we are going through a tough time, sometimes the most courageous thing to do is nothing at all. We have a God who loves us and has only our best interest at heart. He WILL take care of us.

Love Proverbs 31

You know I love Proverbs 31!

John 10:10

That's it for tonight. It's good to be back, friends!

Sunday Worship Song

This is such a beautiful song by Meredith Andrews. I love how it reminds us that we are to run to the river daily. We live in a world that is full of darkness and sin, and as a result...our souls become parched. May we all be reminded today to drink from the Living Water. His water will never leave us thirsty, and through Him we are fully quenched.

My One Year Blog-Iversary!!!

Can you all believe it's been exactly one year since I started this blog?! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by. I justed wanted to say a big Thank You to all my readers, members, etc. I am so honored and truly humbled that anyone would take time out of their day to read my posts. Again, thank you. I began this blog as a way to share my testimony, my love for God, my passion for marriage, and everything else in between. I hope and pray that you have been challanged in your relationship with our sweet Savior, encouraged, and most of all, shown the beautiful love and heartbeat that God has for us all. May we all continue to praise the Lord who has done (and will continue to do) immeasurably more for us than we could have asked or imagined. To Him be the glory, forver and ever. Be blessed, friends.

In celebration of my blog-iversary, I wanted to post one of my favorite worship songs we've been singing at church. I love the awesome truth the song proclaims, as our God is a God to be praised. Sing it loud, believe it, and worship the One who is worthy.

Sunday Worship Song

This is such a beautiful and powerful worship song. I heard it for the first time tonight, and couldn't wait to post it. Listen to the words, and worship Him for the amazing, Almighty, loving, merciful, and gracious God that He is. He deserves ALL our praise, and is the only One who is worthy to receive it. May we all be completely overwhelmed by His love today, and fall to our knees in worship. Have a beautiful and blessed Sunday, friends.
